Digital Account Manager

Acart Communications is looking for a Digital Account Manager to join our Client Services Team. Managing projects for private sector, association and government clients, the ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to manage and take ownership of project timelines while being client-focused. The candidate must be open to sharing new ideas, have a strong attention to detail and have the ability to assess problem situations while creatively developing alternate solutions. Ultimately, the Digital Account Manager should be able to contribute to business growth through creating and maintaining long-term client relationships.


  • Develop and maintain working relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and expectations
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to agency team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Estimate and allocate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Identify risks and create mitigation strategies where necessary
  • Prepare status reports and minutes after meetings in a timely manner
  • Control and verify project scope
  • Create, update and adjust full-scale project schedules
  • Create, update and manage project budgets
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Address client questions effectively and in a timely manner
  • Work as part of the team that sets digital strategies for clients
  • Present social media strategies to clients
  • Suggest, design and implement digital projects to increase customer ROI
  • Knowledge of SEO strategies
  • Analyze digital campaign success
  • Report on web performance metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends


  • 3+ years’ experience as a digital marketing account manager or in an account services role
  • Relevant educational background — a diploma or degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bilingualism considered an asset
