Here at Acart we love our sports clients. From IIHF to the Ottawa Senators and the Paralympic Committee, Acart is Ottawa’s leading sports marketing agency. Our client, Squash Canada, is celebrating a step forward for their sport by launching their Long-term Athlete Development (LTAD) microsite Beyond The Nick.
Through the Beyond the Nick microsite, Squash Canada is aiming to reach athletes at a young age and assist them in growing with the sport, through every stage of their development. The LTAD program details the skills that need to be developed by players and highlights the seven different stages of athlete development. From learning the FUNdamentals to Training to Win, Squash Canada is supporting players, coaches and parents by providing them with all the resources to excel in the sport of squash. Beyond that, Squash Canada also promotes being an active squash player for life: squash is a sport you can start whenever, play forever and play wherever. Staying true to their values, Beyond the Nick is driving excellence in the sport of squash.
Because this microsite is for coaches and parents to access educational materials and a variety of courses targeted for the different stages of athletic development, Acart developed a site that would be accessible on mobile devices like smartphones and tablets so the reference could be on-hand at the time of training. With the end user in mind, Acart produced a responsive web design, where media queries determine browser width to present an optimal view specific to the device and user functionality.
Acart is proud to be a part of Squash Canada’s growth and contribute to the forward-thinking strategies taken on by this National Sport Organization.
