This morning, Acart Communications joined the CE Centre, soon to be Eastern Ontario’s largest and best-equipped purpose-built event space, to celebrate the official launch of construction at their ground breaking ceremony. The event attracted more than 80 invited guests and dignitaries, including Mayor Jim Watson, and Councillors Peter Hume, Diane Deans and Maria McRae.

Acart has helped develop CE Centre’s overall brand platform including the name, logo, tagline and design. We are proud supporters and look forward to the developments over the next few months as CE Centre gets closer to its launch.

CE Centre is located near the Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport and will serve the Ottawa region, national and international consumer and trade show and event planning community. Construction started in November 2010, and the CE Centre will officially open its doors for business in 214 days. The facility will have the built-in flexibility to accommodate events of any size. Every aspect of the CE Centre — from physical space, to food service, to AV and support — is designed to be a cut above the typical event experience.

When you see the completed CE Centre, you’ll see why we’re confident in saying that “every event is better here”!
