Christie Walther Communications, an Ottawa based company serving Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, has been providing public and private businesses with two-way radio and wireless communication solutions for over 51 years. They first approached Acart in January looking for fun and exciting creative to shake up their industry while also offering a real solution to customer needs. In line with Acart’s strategy, the company would provide a B2B product using a fresh and intriguing B2C approach. This fresh approach would not go unnoticed— on November 21, Christie Walther Communications will be awarded for Sales Initiative of the Year by Best Ottawa Business Awards.
In their first campaign, Christie Walther Communications wanted to promote their new PushPlus Network. This two-way radio network solution would have you “Push” to talk and offer useful additional features (“Plus”) such as internal text messaging, GPS capability, secure conversations, digital operations, and much more. Ideal for busy and mobile customers, this campaign would target the construction segments who are active, on-the-go workers with a need for an efficient and dependable communication tool.
The second campaign was a win-back aimed at those who have previously used their services. The approach expressed “Cleared Lines” — a play on a popular radio hit — to keep the message fresh but equally responsive to customer pain points.
The outcome would include enticing creative paired with strategic execution thanks to Christie Walther Communications marketing and sales team. Follow-up to the direct mail piece included an email and a direct phone call to each of the recipients as well as a sell sheet for the Christie Walther sales team to highlight the key features of the product.
Since the launch of these campaigns, Christie Walther’s Lead Generation activities have been recognized by Motorola with the 2013 Motorola Canadian Partner of Excellence Award.
